  My brother went to pick up some food- a couple sandwiches and fries. He sat in the drive-thru for 30 minutes. He got home and realized we didn't get our fries (and they were literally the most expensive part of the order). Had to drive back to get the fries (really should have just gotten our money back- by the time we were able to "enjoy" our meal the sandwiches were cold). Don't use the drive-thru! (I have had decent service when I've walked in).

  It would be nice if they didn't rush you at the drive thru when ordering. However fast,easy and convenient. When we dine inside we always receive awesome service. It's hard but I have mix feelings about McDonald's. They now have a breakfast menu all day that clearly has hash browns on the menu but at 11:15am they "run out" and instead of letting me know they ran out of hash browns they just slip in french fries and if it hadn't been that we are now used to checking your order because they always forget something in the drive thru we wouldn't have noticed till we got home about the swap. However I worked at McDonald's and I know you simply do not run out of hash browns. And the running joke in our family is so one time we ordered a children's chicken nugget Happy Meal and did not check the bag and realized when we got home there was no chicken nuggets and a Happy Meal and even though we were angry we are not angry enough to drive back instead will you warmed up the oven and cooked their own chicken nuggets from the freezer.
